Senior Backend Software Engineer (Golang)

What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges across software and infrastructure layers, improving performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Design and evolve scalable system architectures, including resilient and adaptable backend platforms.
• Maintain code quality through coding standards, code reviews, automated testing, and early defect detection.
• Manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within autonomous teams.
• Collaborate with Product management and cross-functional international teams to deliver solutions for stakeholders and customers.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural discussions, open reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Approximately 7–9 years of experience building complex, distributed, large-scale backend systems.
• Mandatory proficiency in Golang.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, cloud computing, AWS or GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of software architecture principles, relational databases, Redis, Elasticsearch, automated testing, and the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent written and spoken English required for collaboration across international teams.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and implementing scalable end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• MBA or a relevant postgraduate degree.
