Floating Maintenance Technician - Commercial Buildings

Location: Buena Park, California, USA; travel to properties throughout Orange County, Redondo Beach, and Los Angeles is required.

Compensation: $23.00–$25.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Complete work orders within designated time frames.
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to maintain health and safety standards.
• Maintain electrical, plumbing, heating, door, lock, and access-control systems.
• Maintain documentation for fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, building alarms, and other building systems.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal, perform manual repairs, and document materials procurement.
• Participate in technical, safety, and operational training while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• At least one year of maintenance technician experience in retail, mall, or industrial buildings.
• Ability to travel to and from multiple properties as needed.
• In-depth knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices, with manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Problem-solving aptitude and a high school diploma.

Nice to have

• Additional relevant certifications, such as electrical certification or CMRP.
