What you will do

• Examine patients, take medical histories, and update charts with current findings and treatments.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and identify abnormal findings.
• Recommend and design treatment plans for injuries and illnesses.
• Answer patient and family questions and provide guidance on nutrition, hygiene, and preventive healthcare.
• Serve as medical director and supervise healthcare support staff in accordance with state practice rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of employment.
• Current Drug Enforcement Administration registration.
• Medical education and training including undergraduate school, medical school, internship, and residency as applicable to the specialty.
• Effective communication with patients and healthcare support staff.
• Compassion, patience, strong organizational skills, and accurate recordkeeping.

Nice to have

• Primary care background in family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine.
• Board certification.
