What you will do

  • Develop innovative and robust assembly processes for high-volume production of polymer quick connectors and systems.
  • Track emerging process technologies and define process requirements and technical specifications from customer needs.
  • Assess and select external production and automation partners, then collaborate with them to design and implement assembly processes.
  • Supervise the build-up and integration of assembly cells and support production ramp-up at partner facilities.
  • Define and track quality, cost, and time deliverables while coordinating engineering activities with agile project management methods.
  • Run feasibility studies, initiate verification activities, and apply Design for Six Sigma, FMEA, and technical risk management tools.

Requirements

  • Higher degree in Mechanical Engineering at BSc or MSc level.
  • 5+ years of experience in Sweden as a Process Development Engineer focused on automation or robotization for polymer or plastic parts, preferably in automotive or high-volume OEM environments.
  • Basic CAD skills, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Experience with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently with a precise, quality-focused working style.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Swedish and English are required.
