Project Manager - Design (Pharmaceutical Facilities)

Location: Remote option available for candidates in Savannah, GA; Tampa, FL; Miami, FL; Orlando, FL; or Tallahassee, FL, USA

What you will do

• Lead multidisciplinary design phases for complex facility projects from concept through construction documentation.
• Act as the primary design liaison for clients, managing communication, expectations, and satisfaction.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, and external partners to deliver integrated solutions on schedule and within budget.
• Define project scope and design budgets, and monitor financial and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, EU Annex 1, and other applicable codes and standards.
• Identify design risks and promote innovative, sustainable approaches such as CFD modeling, energy-efficient systems, and modular construction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in design project management, preferably for pharmaceutical or biotech facilities.
• Strong understanding of GMP, cleanroom design, and regulated environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Navisworks, and project management platforms.

Nice to have

• PMP or similar project management certification.
• Familiarity with progressive contracting and integrated project delivery models.
