Global Security Operations Center Operator

Location: On-site in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States. Night shift: 11:00 PM/11:30 PM to 7:00 AM/7:30 AM, Thursday through Monday.

Salary: $22 per hour

What you will do

• Monitor and respond promptly to incidents, alarms, notifications, and calls for service.
• Manage life-safety, alarm, communications, reporting, video management, and access control functions.
• Investigate alarms, evaluate information from available sources, and follow appropriate communication and dispatch procedures.
• Escalate security issues and emergencies to department leadership, law enforcement, EMTs, fire departments, and other emergency services.
• Document communications and operational activity confidentially, courteously, and professionally.
• Participate in security and safety training, drills, and tabletop exercises.

Requirements

• On-site availability in Scottsdale, Arizona and ability to work the stated overnight schedule.
• Associate degree.
• Excellent written and spoken English, communication, writing, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong customer service, multitasking, organization, attention to detail, and basic IT literacy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous security operations experience is preferred; training is provided for entry-level candidates.

Nice to have

• Experience with incident management platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with access control and CCTV systems.
• Experience with Lenel and Genetec security tools.
