Communications Security (COMSEC) Operator (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on COMSEC equipment, including baseline configuration management, KEYMAT loading, fault isolation, and re-keying.
• Support KSV-21 cards and vIPer Secure Phones at the TS level.
• Deploy firmware upgrades for TACLANES, ViaSat products, secure phones, and other COMSEC devices.
• Set up and manage GEM One for tracking General Dynamics COMSEC devices and consolidate COMSEC accounts.
• Develop and test Advanced Cryptographically Capabilities compliance and respond to system, equipment, and procedural problems.
• Manage COMSEC materials and maintain operational and Technician-function documentation, reports, and compliance records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2+ years of experience in COMSEC or a similar role.
• Completed KMI Training.
• Active Top-Secret Clearance required.
• Successful completion of a drug screen and background check required.
• Professional verbal and written communication, strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, organization, and the ability to sit and stand for long periods.
