Electrician 3rd Shift

Location: Lancaster, Ohio, USA; onsite, 3rd shift

Compensation: USD 30–34.50 per hour, plus potential shift differential

What you will do

• Install, modify, repair, and maintain new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, controls, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and test electrical and electronic components in machinery and industrial equipment.
• Interpret electrical codes, manuals, schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment to complete installations and repairs safely.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the operation and installation of complete electrical systems and equipment.
• Strong understanding of how circuits, equipment, and controls operate and integrate.
• Knowledge of wire gauges and types, conduit, fittings, relays, boxes, circuit breakers, and other electrical devices.
• Ability to apply the National Electrical Code, local codes, building plans, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
• Ability to use trade formulas to calculate voltage, current, resistance, power factor, and related circuit properties.
• Relevant military electrical experience includes Air Force MOS 3E0X1, Navy CE, Marine MOS 1142, Army MOS 12R, or Coast Guard MOS AET.
