Medical Science Liaison France (Ophthalmology)

Location: Paris, France; field-based role requiring travel across France of up to 70%, with occasional European and international travel.

Salary: EUR 64,000–88,000 gross per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Build and maintain scientific relationships with ophthalmology KOLs, healthcare professionals, academic institutions, and other stakeholders.
• Provide accurate, balanced, and current medical information on products, pipeline assets, and therapeutic areas.
• Present clinical and scientific data and support medical education for healthcare professionals and internal colleagues.
• Gather clinical insights, unmet medical needs, and customer feedback to inform medical and business strategies.
• Support sponsored studies, investigator-sponsored trials, local research, publications, abstracts, and presentations.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Market Access, Medical Information, patient associations, and pharmacovigilance teams.

Requirements

• University degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Fluency in French and English is required.
• At least one year of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a comparable field-based Medical Affairs role.
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical, scientific, and medical information.
• Excellent presentation, teaching, verbal, written communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a pan-European or international environment.

• Experience in ophthalmology.
