Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; field-based position requiring regular travel to oncology centers throughout Bulgaria

Salary: €35,022.55–€47,383.45 per year

What you will do

  • Serve as a scientific expert and medical partner for oncology healthcare professionals, academic experts, investigators, and healthcare institutions.
  • Deliver evidence-based scientific exchange on disease areas, clinical data, treatment guidelines, and emerging evidence.
  • Build strategic relationships with KOLs and healthcare decision-makers and execute stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Capture medical insights, identify unmet clinical needs, and contribute external perspectives to Medical Affairs planning.
  • Support company-sponsored and investigator-initiated research, feasibility assessments, real-world evidence, and scientific publications.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, Regulatory, Market Access, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • MD, PharmD, PhD, MSc, or a comparable advanced scientific degree.
  • Scientific background in oncology, hematology, medicine, pharmacy, or life sciences.
  • Strong ability to critically analyze and communicate clinical data.
  • Excellent interpersonal, scientific communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Integrity, professionalism, compliance awareness, and the ability to work independently in a field-based role.
  • Fluent Bulgarian and English required for written and verbal scientific communication.

Nice to have

  • Previous Medical Science Liaison experience.
  • Oncology or hematology expertise.
  • Experience interacting with KOLs and healthcare institutions.
  • Knowledge of clinical research methodology and evidence generation.
  • Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience.
