Staff Hyperscale Product Manager (SSD)

What you will do

• Own product strategy, roadmaps, business plans, and the full lifecycle for hyperscale and data-center SSD solutions.
• Engage cloud providers, AI infrastructure companies, and large-scale data-center operators to translate workload and infrastructure needs into product requirements.
• Lead MRD and PRD development using customer input, workload trends, and competitive intelligence.
• Coordinate marketing, sales, engineering, operations, and support through product development, qualification, deployment, and volume ramp.
• Define pricing, positioning, qualification strategies, design-win plans, and customer-facing product collateral.
• Represent hirify.global in customer engagements, industry forums such as OCP and NVMe, and discussions with analysts and media.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of product management experience in SSDs, storage, semiconductors, or related hardware technologies.
• Strong understanding of SSD architecture, NAND flash, controller/SoC design, NVMe, PCIe Gen4/5/6, and enterprise or hyperscale storage systems.
• Experience translating technical, market, and financial data into product strategies and differentiated features.
• Strong executive communication, cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% for customer engagements, design reviews, and industry events.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting hyperscalers, cloud providers, or large-scale data-center customers.
• Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, GPU-based systems, data pipelines, KV cache, storage tiering, software-defined storage, virtualization, Linux, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with hyperscale qualification cycles, fleet-level optimization, NVMe, OCP, SNIA, or ecosystem collaboration with CPU, GPU, platform, and storage software vendors.
• MBA or an advanced degree.
