Agricultural Mechanic

Location: Yuna, Western Australia, Australia, approximately 62 km northeast of Geraldton. The role includes a family-suitable house with utilities paid for, and visa sponsorship may be available for a candidate with the right qualifications.

What you will do

• Oversee and perform maintenance on light vehicles, trucks, tractors, sprayers, harvesters, and farm support equipment.
• Conduct diagnostic tests, analyse results, complete repairs, and maintain accurate service records.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are serviced according to manufacturers’ requirements and before each season.
• Provide technical advice to the Farm Manager and attend equipment callouts as required.
• Assist with spraying, seeding, and harvest operations.
• Identify and report health and safety hazards, incidents, and issues, along with other general farm duties.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Agricultural Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Maintenance Manager, Workshop Manager, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, or in a similar role.
• Experience in agriculture, transport, earthmoving, or mining, including operating large-scale plant and equipment.
• Qualified mechanic.
• Willingness to learn, adopt new practices, develop skills, and work safely in a team.
• Strong initiative, self-motivation, and communication skills.
• Class MC Driver’s Licence preferred but not essential.
