Senior Technical Office Engineer (E&I)

What you will do

• Prepare and review method statements, material approval requests, material requisitions, subcontractor RFQs, and E&I construction work packages.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and support smooth site execution.
• Conduct site surveys, provide technical data, review vendor drawings, and verify 3D models, material take-offs, and approved materials.
• Coordinate instrumentation calibration, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and vendor or manufacturer witnessing during construction and commissioning.
• Develop E&I tie-in schedules for shutdown periods and ensure drawings, documents, and materials meet project deadlines.
• Prepare redline drawings, monitor daily progress, and report deviations from approved requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience in vendor drawing reviews and technical interactions with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Hands-on experience in calibration, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting during construction and commissioning.
• Strong coordination skills across Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams.
• Familiarity with HSE and QA/QC procedures and project compliance requirements.
