Electro-Optics Technician (Engineering)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE. Must be a UAE National (Emirati Talent).

What you will do

• Assemble and disassemble mechanical and optical sub-assemblies and mount optical elements on optical benches.
• Perform troubleshooting of EO systems, including power supplies, optics, and control units.
• Execute calibration, alignment, and functional checks using autocollimators, interferometers, and beam profilers.
• Maintain precise technical documentation, including job cards, test logs, and assembly records.
• Adhere to strict cleanroom standards and contamination control practices during handling and storage.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers during system integration and final validation.

Requirements

• Diploma or College degree in Electronics, Optics, Mechanical, or a related field.
• Must be a UAE National (Emirati Talent).
• Basic understanding of EO systems or optical components (training will be provided).
• English: Advanced (C1) level required.
• Strong manual dexterity and high attention to detail.
• Basic computer proficiency for reporting and documentation.

• Knowledge of safety and cleanroom practices.
