Director - Debt Advisory

What you will do

• Lead debt advisory transactions, including financing structure, negotiations, and documentation.
• Manage relationships with private equity and corporate clients, advising senior stakeholders.
• Oversee marketing materials, financial models, and client presentations.
• Develop capital structure optimisation and financing strategies.
• Originate new mandates, support pitch processes, and maintain relationships with banks, debt funds, and alternative finance providers.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to market and regulatory analysis.

Requirements

• Significant experience, typically 8+ years, in debt advisory, leveraged finance, corporate finance, or a related field.
• Proven track record of leading transactions and managing client relationships.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of debt markets, financing instruments, and legal documentation.
• Commercial judgement, strategic thinking, collaborative leadership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
