Cost Controller (Oil & Gas)

Location: Paris, France; on-site/resident, 5 days per week

hirify.global is supporting a major international energy company on a large-scale deep offshore Oil & Gas development project involving FPSO, SURF, SPS, and project management packages.

What you will do

• Control costs for one or two major project packages within the Project Controls function.
• Maintain phased cost forecasts using Value of Work Done and contractor monthly reports.
• Lead monthly cost review meetings and consolidate forecast data.
• Prepare accruals and monthly cost reports covering cost summaries, phasing, variances, and performance.
• Assess project changes, coordinate with Contracts & Procurement, and integrate approved changes into the change control process.
• Maintain reconciliation between SAP and Cleopatra, support re-baselining and cost risk analysis, and produce ad hoc reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Cost Control or Cost Engineering on large-scale Oil & Gas, offshore, or major industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost forecasting, accruals, variance analysis, change control, and cost reporting.
• Experience working with major project packages and multidisciplinary Project Controls teams.
• Knowledge of SAP and Cleopatra or comparable cost management systems.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex cost data and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in French and English; EU-based candidates only.
