Robinetier nucléaire (Nuclear Valve Technician)

Location: On-site in the United Kingdom; long-term mobilisation. The company location is Paris, France.

hirify.global supports a major nuclear new-build project in the United Kingdom during pre-operational testing and commissioning, including the site's valve and valve maintenance package.

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gate, globe, ball, safety relief, and control valves and their pneumatic or electric actuators.
• Inspect valve condition, check tightness and wear, adjust mechanical components, and measure pressure, temperature, and flow parameters.
• Define corrective actions such as cleaning, replacement of worn parts, or replacement of larger sub-assemblies according to technical specifications.
• Investigate failures, diagnose malfunctions, identify root causes, and carry out repairs and rework.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment using drawings and procedures, then verify that repaired components and systems are operational.
• Complete intervention technical sheets and maintenance documentation while reporting non-conformities and unsafe situations.

Requirements

• Vocational qualification at CAP or Bac Pro level in maintenance, mechanics, or electromechanics, or an equivalent UK NVQ Level 2 or 3.
• Ability to work on-site in the United Kingdom for a long-term assignment.
• English is the working language.
• Experience working with calibrated measuring instruments, technical specifications, drawings, and operating procedures.
• Ability to interpret vibration analysis results.
• Additional certifications include overhead crane or pendant-control operation, forklift operation, and MEWP or cherry-picker operation.
