Corporate Accounting Sr. Analyst

Location: Onsite in Leawood, Kansas, USA. Occasional visits to manufacturing facilities may be required.

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and analyses across multiple domestic and international entities.
• Maintain general ledger integrity, intercompany reconciliations, fixed-asset and lease records, and the corporate chart of accounts.
• Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, standard procedures, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate internal and external audit support, prepare audit schedules, and help address findings and corrective actions.
• Partner with Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Operations, Legal, Procurement, Human Resources, and local finance teams on reporting, transformation, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• At least 5–7 years of experience, including a minimum of five years in progressively responsible accounting roles.
• Experience with financial consolidations, multi-entity accounting, audits, internal controls, and SOX compliance.
• Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise platforms, plus advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. A post-offer background check, drug screen, and physical may be required; applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CPA certification and public accounting experience, including Big Four or regional firm experience.
• Corporate accounting experience in a manufacturing or multinational organization.
• Experience with OneStream and global consolidation and reporting applications.
