Senior Manager/Director - Restructuring Advisory (Finance)

What you will do

• Lead restructuring assignments from inception to completion, including CVLs, Administrations, MVLs, Corporate Simplification, CVAs, and advisory engagements.
• Provide pre-appointment advice, contingency planning, options analysis, and formal restructuring support.
• Assess complex mid-market group structures, prioritise key issues, and develop strategic recommendations.
• Oversee case reviews and report writing, ensuring effective progression and outcomes for stakeholders.
• Manage client relationships, support business development, and represent the restructuring advisory department at events.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise the Teesside restructuring advisory team while collaborating with other offices and service areas.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in restructuring advisory.
• JIEB.CII qualification.
• Strong leadership, team management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Confident report writing and experience managing complex restructuring assignments in a professional services environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

Nice to have

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Track record of winning work and generating client opportunities.
