Senior-2 Engineer/Analyst/Consult (Utilities Privatization)

Location: Alaska, United States; initially identified work site at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska, with remote work possible and the work site subject to change.

What you will do

• Support government oversight and administration of long-term privatized utility service contracts.
• Validate data and perform SCADA, GIS, metering, invoice, and rate analyses.
• Coordinate GIS and asset-tracking submissions for accuracy and completeness.
• Support CPIR and asset verification activities, including RCA pre-file data preparation.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide daily support across installations.
• Maintain data quality, records and version control while supporting senior engineering, analyst, and program management staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Business, or Environmental Science.
• 5–8 years of professional experience.
• Experience as an engineer or analyst in utilities, GIS, or energy systems management.
• Skills in data analysis, GIS, metering systems, technical writing, and quantitative reasoning.
• Proficiency with business tools including Microsoft Office; advanced Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word skills are expected.
• Reliability, adaptability, attention to detail, and collaboration.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with NARUC USOA.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
