Senior Program Analyst, Engineering

Location: Hybrid schedule based in Berlin, Connecticut, with required travel to office locations in eastern and western Massachusetts and occasional travel to Connecticut and New Hampshire. Emergency storm assignments may require work outside normal responsibilities, hours, and location.

Salary: $107,580.00–$119,530.00 annually, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Track and report on multiple projects within the grid modernization investment portfolio, including substation upgrades, distribution automation, monitoring and control, load flow analysis, and voltage optimization.
• Coordinate project data collection and management covering financials, milestones, risks, and performance metrics.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, internal management, external, and regulatory reports.
• Extract data from multiple databases and create reports supporting project controls and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, System Operations, IT, Finance, and Corporate Performance Management.
• Perform deep-dive analysis when data or results do not match expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent combined education and experience.
• At least five years of related experience; utility industry experience is ideal but not required.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, statistical, and mathematical skills.
• Familiarity with budgeting, accounting, and project management principles and practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, charts, and functions.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in the utility industry.
