Senior Consultant (Metals & Mining)

Location: London or Edinburgh, United Kingdom; occasional travel may be required for client engagements.

What you will do

• Support strategic and commercial consulting engagements across energy, metals and mining, and natural resources.
• Perform advanced modelling, data analysis, market assessment, and strategic evaluation using internal and external sources.
• Develop clear, compelling client presentations, reports, and actionable recommendations.
• Own project workstreams, communicate progress and risks, and deliver results against milestones and deadlines.
• Work with project leaders, clients, subject matter experts, consulting, research, and commercial teams.
• Contribute creative ideas to improve consulting methodologies, offerings, and best practices.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in consulting, strategy, commercial analysis, market intelligence, or a related analytical role.
• Knowledge of metals and mining or broader natural resources, including industry dynamics, value chains, and energy-transition implications.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills in data analysis, modelling, market assessment, and strategic evaluation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex information and influence stakeholders.
• Strong organisation, problem-solving, interpersonal, adaptability, and independent delivery skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in market analysis, corporate strategy, market entry, valuation, or financial modelling within consulting or industry environments.
