Salary: $58,440–$93,500 annually, with potential short-term incentives and benefits.

What you will do

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families.
• Help service members establish spending plans for extended absences and deployment-related periods.
• Develop informational financial materials and deliver classes, workshops, briefings, and seminars across the military lifecycle.
• Coordinate with installation and military branch Points of Contact to ensure services remain within scope and meet installation needs.
• Provide authorized virtual counseling through secure online chat, web-based communication, video, or secure teleconferencing.
• Manage duty-to-warn situations, communicate trends to leadership, and participate in supervision, training, and quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an associate degree plus four years of experience, or a high school diploma plus six years of experience, may be considered instead.
• At least three years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
• Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass the Organizational Conflicts of Interest process.
• Must hold one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
• Valid in-state driver’s license required.
