Professional Services Consultant - Operations (Fintech)

Location: 100% remote; position associated with New York, NY and Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $100,000–$160,000 USD annual base salary in New York and Massachusetts; discretionary bonus and/or equity may also be available.

What you will do

• Execute middle- and back-office operational processes and procedures.
• Onboard new functionality, asset classes, managers, clients, and funds.
• Support client onboarding, fund launches, counterparty setup, asset class expansion, reporting initiatives, and platform integrations.
• Conduct operational reviews and optimize platform configuration, adoption, and workflows.
• Advise on integrations across front-, middle-, and back-office systems, vendors, data warehouses, and reporting platforms.
• Document business processes, technical requirements, workflow designs, and operational artifacts.

Requirements

• 3–10 years of experience in financial services, hedge funds, financial technology, or related middle- or back-office operations.
• Understanding of instrument valuation across equities, options, futures, fixed income, credit, and FX.
• Knowledge of the trade lifecycle, including pre-trade compliance, order generation, execution, confirmation, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Familiarity with buy-side PMS, IBOR, or ABOR systems; experience with SS&C products such as Advent Geneva, Eze OMS, or Eze EMS/Realtick is preferred.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and operational concepts to varied stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work different standard shift patterns as business needs evolve.
