Construction Project Manager (Associate - Advisor)

Location: Hybrid position in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus and work onsite several times per week.

Pay: $4,324.00–$11,309.65 per month.

What you will do

• Manage small Build-to-Suit facility and material handling projects under the guidance of a manager and mentor.
• Monitor project progress and performance against plans, resolving operational issues and minimizing delays.
• Oversee equipment installation, operation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, forecasts, cost estimates, and funding plans.
• Coordinate developers, general contractors, architectural engineering firms, vendors, field operations, and internal departments.
• Communicate with inspectors, fire marshals, and local jurisdictions to meet requirements and obtain certificates of occupancy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering, construction project management, or a related field; equivalent related experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated academic experience in engineering project management.
• Ability to read and understand construction documents, technical specifications, and drawings.
• Basic understanding of project or construction project management software and proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Strong verbal, written, communication, presentation, organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Must be able to work at the hirify.global campus several times per week and live within 50 miles of the Pittsburgh campus.
