Associate Construction Project Manager - Construction Project Management Advisor

Location: Hybrid position in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus and work onsite several times per week.

Salary: $4,324.00–$11,309.65 per month.

What you will do

• Manage small build-to-suit facility or material handling projects from planning through construction, startup, testing, commissioning, and hand-off to field operations.
• Monitor project progress and performance against plans, resolving operational problems and minimizing delays.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, cost estimates, and capital or expense funding.
• Oversee equipment installation and operation while enforcing engineering standards, designs, specifications, and statements of work.
• Coordinate engineering firms, developers, general contractors, vendors, field operations, inspectors, fire marshals, and local jurisdictions.
• Identify project resources and ensure vendors meet scope, schedule, contract, and collaboration requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering, construction project management, or a related field; equivalent related experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated academic experience in engineering project management.
• Ability to read and understand construction documents, technical specifications, drawings, and engineering standards.
• Basic understanding of project or construction project management software and proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, time management, multitasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Must live within 50 miles of the Pittsburgh campus and work onsite several times per week.
