Senior Vice President, Private Debt Mobilization

What you will do

• Build strategies for a sustainable Private Debt Mobilization franchise within SCIB.
• Partner with origination and Global Markets sales teams on distribution-led structuring and underwriting solutions.
• Manage the end-to-end distribution, syndication, sell-down, risk transfer, and balance sheet optimization of debt assets.
• Provide liquidity assessments and distribution recommendations for underwriting and investment committee decisions.
• Lead syndication and investor engagement activities and develop new distribution channels and investor coverage.
• Coordinate PDM policies, product knowledge, operational developments, and accounting-related processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business-related discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in debt underwriting, structuring, and syndication; candidates with less experience may be considered for a Vice President position.
• Experience with syndicated loans, structured debt, infrastructure financing, underwriting, and warehousing of bespoke transactions across the capital stack.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to draft and interpret transaction documents, including transfer and confidentiality clauses, and understand their legal implications.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of liquidity markets in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and Australia.
• Experience with Asia-market borrowers or issuers and insight into major industries and asset classes.
• Strong relationships with Asian banks, insurers, and institutional private credit investors.
• Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese language skills.
