Institutional Services Senior Product Owner (Workflow)

Location: Hybrid within the M&T footprint; remote work is available outside the M&T footprint within the United States. Primary location: Wilmington, Delaware, United States.

Salary: $163,100–$271,900 annual USD

What you will do

• Set the product vision and strategic direction for workflow products and capabilities across Institutional Services.
• Represent internal and external customer needs while aligning business, engineering, architecture, and cross-product platforms.
• Manage and coach a team of Product Owners, including staffing, performance management, budget, and planning responsibilities.
• Develop roadmaps, requirements, product artifacts, and prioritized backlogs in partnership with stakeholders and agile teams.
• Drive digital workflow and process transformation through customer experience improvements, design thinking, analytics, and emerging technology analysis.
• Identify feasibility, cost, delivery, risk, and regulatory considerations, while maintaining internal controls and addressing audit findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of business, analytical, technical, or product experience; alternatively, 14 years of combined higher education and work experience including 10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated business expertise, priority-setting, independent decision-making, and understanding of business value impacts.
• Experience prioritizing competing initiatives in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to gather multiple perspectives, make independent decisions, and influence positive outcomes.
• Experience managing teams through influence, accountability, and ownership in an agile environment.
• Ability to follow risk, regulatory, and internal control standards.

• Understanding of design thinking principles.
• Knowledge of product design and development best practices.
• Knowledge of Agile and Lean principles and practices.
• Experience partnering with user experience teams and developing or managing digital capabilities.
