Field LH Support Rep-5 (Transportation Dispatch)

What you will do

• Dispatch transportation equipment according to linehaul plans and schedules.
• Coordinate cargo shipments to maximize trailer volume while meeting package delivery obligations.
• Enter dispatch events in the transportation management system and verify equipment locations through yard inventories.
• Complete yard checks, confirm trailer load and unload status, and report missing equipment.
• Investigate schedule delays, accidents, and equipment failures, implementing contingency plans for on-time delivery.
• Compile operational reports, review transportation violations and trailer load condition reports, and support audit activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Previous dispatch experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a PC Windows environment and complete required training and accreditations.
• For positions requiring driving as a core competency, a valid driver's licence and a driving record with no more than two violations or accidents in the previous 24 months are required.
• If residing in Quebec, bilingual French and English proficiency is required.
