Senior Consultant - Lab Information Systems (LIS) Systems

Location: US - National; up to 100% travel may be required, and remote work flexibility depends on the client engagement.

What you will do

• Provide subject matter expertise for Lab Information Systems, including Oracle Health/Cerner, SCC Soft, Sunquest, WellSky, Orchard, and Apex.
• Support, configure, upgrade, maintain, and implement clinical and business applications.
• Analyze workflows, identify optimization opportunities, and guide clients through system changes and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical and functional issues with client IT teams and vendors.
• Plan and execute application testing, including test scripts, unit testing, integrated testing, package testing, and domain validation.
• Lead project meetings, document issues and work performed, mentor client teams, and coordinate solutions with project leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent healthcare and technical experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on build and implementation experience with one or more LIS solutions.
• Experience with domain validation, package testing, application break/fix resolution, and designing, building, and testing system changes.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, multitasking, and deadline-management skills.
• Ability to adapt to new project environments, teams, client procedures, and varying travel and living arrangements.
• Availability to perform work functions at any time, including nights and weekends as needed.
