Internal Auditor I

Location: Chicago, Illinois; hybrid with an in-office requirement of 3 days per week

Base pay: $41,700–$92,800 per year, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Conduct audits of financial and operational controls across multiple departments.
• Assess compliance with established procedures and policies.
• Review accounting and financial systems, manual processes, and operational effectiveness.
• Apply control and risk-related methodologies while documenting audit work.
• Communicate audit-related information verbally and in writing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, a related business field, or a health-related discipline.
• Knowledge of basic accounting, finance, system analysis, and audit practices.
• Proficiency with word-processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
• Verbal and written communication, time-management, and project-management skills.
• Availability to work from the Chicago office 3 days per week in a hybrid arrangement.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
