Senior Staff Software Engineer, Infrastructure

Location: Remote-first; most roles are remote in-country, some are remote within a region, and a few teams have an in-office hub. Occasional travel may be required for onboarding and team gatherings.

What you will do

• Define and execute long-term architectural strategy for multi-cloud compute and traffic platforms.
• Design and implement critical infrastructure projects focused on reliability, automation, security, and performance at scale.
• Own technical direction, architecture standards, roadmaps, and end-to-end stewardship for infrastructure systems.
• Lead design reviews, code contributions, and cross-team alignment across Infrastructure, Security, Engineering, and Product Management.
• Engage with strategic customers to understand technical requirements and shape platform capabilities.
• Mentor engineers and raise the bar for technical and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of software engineering experience, including significant experience at Senior or Staff individual-contributor level.
• Expert design and coding skills with deep knowledge of performance tuning, concurrency, and distributed systems architecture.
• Extensive experience building large-scale public cloud infrastructure and complex distributed software systems and microservices.
• Hands-on expertise with multiple cloud providers, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong technical leadership, collaboration, communication, and long-term technical roadmap development skills.
