Process Improvement Specialist (Logistics)

Location: Onsite at 1 Express, Duiven, Netherlands

What you will do

• Identify opportunities to improve operational performance, quality, and efficiency through data analysis.
• Develop practical improvement initiatives and measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
• Lead improvement projects from initial analysis through implementation and follow-up.
• Coordinate activities across Operations, Service Assurance, Planning & Engineering, Control Room, and supporting departments.
• Facilitate workshops, build stakeholder alignment, and present recommendations to operational leadership.
• Develop performance reporting and translate operational data into clear recommendations for decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working and thinking level.
• Experience in process improvement, project management, or operational excellence.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and work in a structured, proactive, result-oriented way.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; Power BI or similar reporting tools is beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
