Senior Consultant - Healthcare Project Director (Epic)

What you will do

• Direct and support Epic healthcare IT projects, ensuring successful delivery on time and on budget.
• Perform Epic-related consulting, administrative computer services, system build, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Mentor client project teams on project and system build strategy.
• Track and document project risks and issues, analyze workflows, and prepare project documentation.
• Facilitate status meetings and coordinate ongoing work products with project leadership.
• Work directly with Epic end users to monitor workflows and recommend documentation and optimization improvements.

Requirements

• At least five years of healthcare IT project director experience.
• Demonstrated success overseeing an Epic project delivered on time and on budget.
• At least one Epic certification; multiple certifications are preferred.
• At least two years of Epic work experience after certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, multitasking, adaptability, and deadline management skills.
• PMP certification is strongly preferred for project management and leadership roles.
