VP, Data and Analytics (Healthcare)

Salary: $159,665–$287,395 per year, with potential short-term incentives and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and own a multi-year enterprise data and analytics strategy, including target-state architecture and modernization of legacy infrastructure.
• Oversee data ingestion, ETL/ELT pipelines, cloud data platforms, data lakes, warehouses, and Master Data Management.
• Lead enterprise data governance, data quality, profiling, monitoring, lineage tracking, stewardship, and catalog initiatives.
• Deliver enterprise business intelligence, self-service reporting, operational dashboards, and advanced analytical models.
• Partner with clinical, operations, finance, and executive stakeholders to develop data products and support responsible AI/ML adoption.
• Lead a high-performing organization, manage a $3M–$5M annual budget, and oversee vendors, partners, and investment business cases.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive experience in data, analytics, or data engineering, including at least 5 years owning a data and analytics organization in a senior leadership role.
• Experience leading data or analytics transformation in a low-maturity environment and executing a modernization roadmap.
• Expertise with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Redshift, or Azure Synapse; ETL/ELT tools; and BI platforms including Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Experience building enterprise data governance programs and managing data quality operations.
• Experience managing large multifunctional teams of 30+ professionals, budgets, vendors, and organizational change.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science or Management Information Systems.

Nice to have

• Healthcare industry experience and familiarity with HIPAA, HL7/FHIR, ICD coding, and claims data structures.
• Experience with federal data requirements, including CUI handling under NIST SP 800-171 or CMMC compliance environments.
• Master's degree in Computer and Information Science or Healthcare Administration.
