Part-Time Pharmacy Technician - Sterile IV Compounding Central Admixture Pharmacy

hirify.global’s CAPS division provides same-day sterile admixture services, outsourcing pharmacy solutions, and batch compounding for hospitals and outpatient facilities.

What you will do

• Prepare compounded sterile IV medications using aseptic technique under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Set up the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for sterile solution preparation.
• Participate in cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Prepare records and monitor results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties while following CAPS policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician License issued by the California Board of Pharmacy required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of the relevant technical field and ability to follow established procedures and detailed instructions.
• Part-time availability from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; weekday or weekend shifts, mostly weekends, with holidays and overtime as needed.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds.

Nice to have

• National Pharmacy Certification through PTCB or NHA ExCPT.
• cGMP training or experience.
• Aseptic processing training or experience; training is provided.
