Pre-ETS Instructor - Lowell/Eagle Park IN

Location: Onsite daily in Lowell, Indiana, United States

Compensation: $18.00–$20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Deliver direct instruction in communication, life skills, technology, problem solving, teamwork, professionalism, and other employability skills.
• Assess students’ strengths, interests, learning needs, and progress in classroom and workplace settings.
• Develop individualized goals and outcomes with student input.
• Support job development, job searches, resume writing, interview preparation, and work experience portfolios.
• Teach attendance, workplace communication, self-advocacy, and access to public or private transportation.
• Maintain student records and communicate monthly with consultants and other involved parties.

Requirements

• Daily onsite presence in Lowell, Indiana is required.
• Ability to work according to the student school calendar for approximately 180–185 workdays.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods, materials, and curricula to individual student needs.
• Ability to assess student development and maintain accurate, complete files.
• Ability to educate employers about disability awareness and effective supervision strategies.
