What you will do
- Develop and maintain Robot Framework automation frameworks, test scripts, custom keywords, and reusable libraries.
- Write clean, efficient, and modular automation code in Python or Java.
- Refactor existing frameworks to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand system architecture, workflows, and testing requirements.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, debug scripts, analyze results, and document technical findings.
- Improve automation practices using AI-driven tools and provide technical guidance to team members.
Requirements
- Mid-level profile with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Robot Framework.
- Strong coding and scripting skills in Python or Java.
- Experience with RDBMS, preferably PostgreSQL, and with modular scripts, custom libraries, keywords, and reusable components.
- Understanding of automation tools, coding best practices, framework design, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and automation workflows.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative version control, plus strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of API testing and automation for REST/SOAP services.
- Familiarity with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or other automation frameworks.
- Experience using AI tools for automated test case generation and execution, such as MCP Server or similar tools.
- Manual testing experience and the ability to share or train others on automation scripts.
