Backend Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Develop backend applications and solve complex problems in algorithms, system design, and production serving.
• Design abstractions that minimize custom code for businesses with different requirements.
• Integrate and interpret data distributed across multiple systems.
• Evaluate operational feasibility across requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Own the quality, total cost of ownership, maintainability, and security of developed components.
• Review code, improve engineering practices, contribute to documentation, and help shape engineering culture and the product as an early team member.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and passion for building software.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-driven, proactive, and willing to experiment and address complex problems.
• Experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, Redis, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, or AWS is helpful but not required.
