Semi-Senior Python Backend Engineer (Python)

Location: Fully remote, available from anywhere in Latin America

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python, Django, and Flask.
• Build RESTful APIs in collaboration with frontend developers.
• Optimize code and SQL/NoSQL databases for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain backend engineering best practices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for deployment and integration.
• Contribute to agile sprint planning and retrospectives with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of backend development experience with Python.
• Strong experience with Django or Flask and RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL databases and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with AWS and CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with FastAPI.
• Experience working on international projects or teams.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies such as React or Angular.
