Public Relations Manager

Location: Remote from anywhere, or hybrid in San Francisco, New York City, Boston, or Chicago

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 annually, depending on experience

What you will do

• Lead public relations programs and day-to-day account direction across four or more B2B and B2C technology accounts.
• Plan, prioritize, and make strategic decisions across multiple account teams and emerging industry verticals.
• Develop key messaging, positioning statements, program objectives, and communications priorities.
• Lead media relations and contribute to challenging or innovative program goals.
• Teach, coach, and develop talent while establishing clear work standards and expectations.
• Collaborate with senior team members on agency initiatives and new business pitches.

Requirements

• 6+ years of public relations experience at an agency or startup technology/direct-to-consumer company.
• At least two years of program development and team management experience.
• Experience developing messaging and positioning for emerging products or companies.
• Advanced writing and editing skills, with experience translating big ideas into clear program objectives.
• Ability to manage projects across several distinct teams or large-scale programs.
• Expertise in media relations, coaching, transparent communication, and delivering quality work in fast-paced environments.
