What you will do
- Coordinate and evaluate tax contributions under applicable laws, regulations, and international treaties.
- Calculate and submit provisional tax payments using information from accounting.
- Compile and submit information required by tax authorities, helping minimize fines and sanctions.
- Establish expense provisions and reserves, purge accounting balances, and ensure correct allocation to tax accounts.
- Determine tax credit balances and prepare information for expedited refunds.
- Prepare intercompany payment transfers, VAT projections, group tax reports, and federal tax compensation requests.
Requirements
- Experience coordinating tax calculations, filings, reports, and requests in accordance with tax legislation.
- Knowledge of accounting records, tax accounts, tax credits, VAT, and intercompany transactions.
- Ability to review the accuracy and validity of tax information before submission.
- Ability to work with current laws, regulations, and international treaties.
