Tax Professional

What you will do

• Provide ad hoc tax advisory support to internal business stakeholders.
• Handle tax compliance and reporting activities for assigned hirify.global entities.
• Prepare and support indirect tax returns, including VAT and withholding taxes.
• Respond to enquiries and information requests from tax authorities.
• Support tax projects involving new tax implementations and changes in tax rules.
• Collaborate with international tax teams, the Malaysian tax services centre, accounting and controlling teams, business stakeholders, external consultants, and tax authorities.

Requirements

• Recognized degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Tax.
• Good knowledge of international tax laws and regulations.
• Experience with indirect tax; exposure to European VAT compliance is advantageous.
• Ideally 3–5 years of experience handling foreign tax compliance work.
• Good English proficiency in verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
