What you will do
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable data engineering solutions.
- Build, optimize, and maintain large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing workflows.
- Design reusable data products, frameworks, distributed systems, and cloud-based data platforms.
- Integrate structured and unstructured data sources into unified platforms while ensuring data quality and reliability.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and support delivery of data-driven products.
- Lead and mentor data engineers while promoting engineering excellence and agile collaboration.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering or Big Data environments.
- Strong experience with Python, Scala, or Java, plus Apache Spark or PySpark.
- Strong experience with Databricks and the Hadoop ecosystem, including Hive, Impala, Oozie, Sqoop, or NiFi.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of distributed systems, data architecture, cloud-native data engineering platforms, and AWS or Azure.
- Experience leading technical initiatives or engineering teams and a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
