What you will do

• End-to-end development and deployment of traditional and GenAI machine learning models, from discovery to deployment.
• Design and implement new Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and enhance existing frameworks.
• Design and execute experiments to benchmark and evaluate model performance using classical and GenAI-specific techniques.
• Develop and refine prompts to optimise GenAI model reasoning, accuracy, and overall effectiveness.
• Collaborate with business partners and technical teams to translate business requirements into impactful AI solutions.
• Research and innovate by staying abreast of emerging tools, techniques, and best practices in LLMs, RAG, and GenAI.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Proven track record of delivering AI solutions from research to production in real-world applications.
• Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms, deep learning concepts, Neural Networks, and Transformer-based architectures.
• Knowledge in developing and deploying scalable models on Databricks, Azure, and AWS, leveraging FastAPI and Docker.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, LangChain, LlamaIndex, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD for production-ready AI systems.

• Domain expertise in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Experience in building knowledge bases and ontologies.
• Ability to provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior AI Scientists.
