What you will do

• Develop and maintain ELT pipelines to ensure reliable, scalable data for reporting and analytics.
• Build and optimize SQL-based data models using dbt and other ETL tools.
• Improve data delivery, processing performance, and system efficiency.
• Collaborate to translate requirements into scalable pipelines and datasets.
• Support the team’s shift toward an AI-enabled operating model using emerging AI tools and practices.
• Contribute to the technical vision and propose innovative improvements to data systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with data pipelines and ETL in big data environments.
• Extensive SQL experience, including data modeling and analysis.
• Hands-on production experience with dbt and modern/classic data modeling (e.g., Kimball, Inmon).
• Programming skills in Python (or similar) for data transformation and automation.
• Experience with cloud columnar databases (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake) and SQL query authoring.
• Experience with performance testing, capacity planning, and cost optimization for large-scale cloud data pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-augmented engineering practices (agentic IDE workflows, prompt/skill engineering, eval design, treating AI artifacts as production code).
• SnowPro Core certification or equivalent expertise.
• Hands-on production experience with Apache Spark (Spark SQL / PySpark).
• Familiarity with Lean/6 Sigma and CRM analytics.
