Lead Estimator / Quantity Surveyor (Construction)

Location: Remote from anywhere in the Philippines; Monday to Friday during AU/NZ business hours, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM PH Time

Salary: PHP 120,000–160,000 per month, with flexibility for more experienced candidates

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of estimators and quantity surveyors.
• Prepare cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and detailed cost breakdowns.
• Review and validate estimates prepared by junior team members.
• Support tendering and bidding processes for construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to align pricing with project requirements.
• Improve estimating efficiency and cost-control processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an estimator or quantity surveyor in construction, including at least 5 years leading or mentoring a team.
• Experience with Australian and New Zealand construction projects is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, pricing, and Australian/New Zealand construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with estimating and take-off tools such as Pryda, MiTek, Bluebeam, CostX, PlanSwift, Excel, or similar software.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently remotely, meet deadlines, and provide a portfolio demonstrating previous estimating and project experience.
