Lead Estimator (Mechanical or Electrical)

What you will do

• Lead estimating activities through the construction stage and manage relationships with project teams, general contractors, and clients.
• Develop and implement robust estimating processes and systems.
• Evaluate initial cost plans to confirm they support delivery within agreed timeframes.
• Own the external contractor bid analysis process.
• Develop industry benchmarking strategies and incorporate relevant data into client estimates.
• Provide estimate updates, quality controls, and technical guidance on change order estimates and cost analysis.

Requirements

• More than 15 years of estimating experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, petrochemical, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.
• Proficiency across estimating, peer reviews, and project benchmarking for highly technical facilities.
• Experience building and guiding estimating teams.
• Strong business development, negotiation, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
• Interviews are conducted in person or virtually with video required.
