Lead Estimator (Mechanical or Electrical)

What you will do

• Lead estimating activities through the construction stage and manage relationships with project teams, general contractors, and clients.
• Develop robust estimating processes and systems and ensure cost plans support delivery within agreed timeframes.
• Own external contractor bid analysis and develop industry benchmarking strategies for client estimates.
• Provide stakeholder updates, quality control, technical guidance on change order estimates, and cost analysis after budget setting.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of estimating experience, including experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, petrochemical, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.
• Proficiency across all estimating stages, peer reviews, and project benchmarking for highly technical facilities.
• Experience building and guiding an estimating team.
• Excellent business development, negotiation, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with teams and clients through openness and shared purpose.
