Test Technician (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop, prepare, assemble, and commission mechanical and fluidic test-bench systems.
• Integrate instrumentation and support CAD modeling of test benches.
• Operate and monitor test-bench systems during test campaigns.
• Perform maintenance, inspections, post-test operations, and hardware documentation.
• Write and execute test and maintenance procedures, and contribute to safety reviews, risk assessments, and operational readiness checks.
• Manage spare parts and procurement while collaborating with design engineers, AIT teams, suppliers, and test-facility operators.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience assembling and operating mechanical and fluidic systems.
• Previous experience in aeronautics or aerospace, ideally in a test environment.
• Experience with cryogenic fluids and high-pressure gases, including understanding of their risks and consequences.
• Experience with CAD software such as NX/Teamcenter or equivalent.
• Basic instrumentation, data acquisition, and test-monitoring experience, such as LabVIEW.
• Intermediate working proficiency in English; French is an asset.
