Product Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own a product vertical end-to-end, including outcomes, metrics, value-based prioritisation, backlog management, and acceptance criteria.
• Shape technical designs with Engineering, covering system boundaries, money movement, ledgers, reconciliation, third-party rails, security, latency, scalability, and recovery.
• Make and defend trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and user experience.
• Integrate regulatory requirements such as licensing, CDD/KYC, transaction limits, sanctions and PEP screening, transaction monitoring, data residency, and privacy into product decisions.
• Define responsible AI use, including decision boundaries, human-in-the-loop workflows, evaluation methods, uncertainty handling, and traceability to real records.
• Coordinate launches across Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance/Reconciliation as partner and regulatory gates clear.

Requirements

• Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end, with strong judgement and decisiveness under ambiguity.
• Solid system design knowledge covering boundaries, datastores, queues, workflows, APIs, failure modes, and consistency under concurrency.
• Experience in a regulated or high-consequence domain such as payments, banking, remittance, or insurance, or the ability to ramp up quickly.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and defining offline, online, and human-feedback evaluations.
• Ability to read, review, challenge, and sketch technical designs without needing to write production code.
• Strong English communication is required for collaboration across global teams.

Nice to have

• Engineering or highly technical product management background.
• Zero-to-one product experience or experience shipping AI-heavy consumer products.
• Experience defining evaluation metrics for ML/LLM systems and designing AI UX with robust failure handling.
• Southeast Asian market experience.
